Skyrim mods run the gamut from adding loads of new spells and weapons to the game to bringing in popular characters like Resident Evil: Village's Lady Dimitrescu. A recent mod featured on PCGamesN looks to combine the world of Skyrim with CD Projekt Red's similarly massive RPG franchise, The Witcher. RELATED: Skyrim Player Uses Mods to Turn the Game Into Star Wars The newly-released mod features a Witcher race added into Skyrim, complete with full customization that allows players to create their own take on the iconic Geralt of Rivia or create a Witcher all their own.
The Witcher race features some fairly powerful bonuses compared to the vanilla game's races, regenerating stats like health and magicka 2-3 times as fast as other races. The race also boasts enhanced damage for unarmed combat, with the Witcher race's punches being three times as strong as that of other races. The mod also adds the Witcher franchise's Aard and Igni signs, with the modder intending to add more in the future. Mihail promises that their mods are "lore-friendly", so when you're ready, get downloading.The mod's creater, RobA, suggests pairing the Witcher race mod with a previously released Skyrim mod titled "A Witcher's Adventure".
This will apparently include creatures more connected to dark fantasy (well duh). If this wasn't enough, Mihail has also teased the future release of the Dark Fantasy Pack. Turn Skyrim into a magical world, filled with ancient mysteries and exciting challenges, populated by everything from raging Minotaurs to mischievous Goblins, ancient Woodland Spirits to venomous living Slimes." Here's hoping we'll get official Wampas in The Elder Scrolls 6. The description reads, "Official pack of Mihail's High Fantasy themed creations.
Alongside Wampas, the mod adds 132 new creatures, 35 new areas, 22 weapons, 11 spells, and 41 new ingredients. Even though it's currently only for Skyrim Legacy Edition, Mihail is planning a release for Skyrim Special Edition. If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Wampa slayer, Mihail's Monsters and Animals Mod is available from Nexus Mods.
